On the first Friday in October of every year, October 6 this year, thousands of manufacturers and educational institutions across the nation participate in Manufacturing Day by hosting open houses, public tours, career workshops and other events. Through this collective effort, Manufacturing Day draws public attention to manufacturing’s present-day reality and encourages careers in this secure and growing sector of the economy.
In 2016, Colorado had 144 Manufacturing Day events, many of them hosted at manufacturing facilities. We want to beat last year’s record participation! Join us for our September webinar to find out how you can participate this year, either by attending or hosting an event. For a preview about this exciting event go to www.mfgday.com.
